Application & Selection Training for Guidance Counselors

This year, in recognition of all that Guidance Counselors do for the Governor's Scholars Program, we would like to offer them a valuable professional development opportunity.  We will be hosting special training sessions just for Guidance Counselors to equip them with all of the information, tips, and tricks that they need to help their juniors compile their best possible GSP applications.  These workshops will take place on each of the three GSP campuses as follows:

Bellarmine Campus- Wednesday, July 6th, 1:00  - 3:00 p.m.  EDT                    
Murray State Campus- Wednesday, July 13th, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. CDT                    
Centre Campus- Wednesday, July 20th, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. EDT

The Application & Selection Training at Bellarmine University on Wednesday, July 6th, will be held in the Private Dining Room, which is located in the University Dining Hall (#5 on the campus map).  Counselors who have resigistered to attend may download detailed directions to campus, and specifically to the Private Dining Room, here.  If you have not yet registered, but would like to attend the training that will be held at Bellarmine, please call the GSP-Bellarmine office at 502-272-7477 at your earliest convenience.

The Application & Selection Training at Murray State University on Wednesday, July 13th, will be held in Room 140 of Clark College (see the campus map).  Counselors who have resigistered to attend may download detailed directions to campus, and specifically to Clark College Room 140, here.  If you have not yet registered, but would like to attend the training that will be held at Murray State, please call the GSP-Murray State office at 270-809-7489 at your earliest convenience.

The Application & Selection Training at Centre College on Wednesday, July 20th, will be held in Room 201 of the Campus Center (#42/66 on the campus map).  Counselors who have resigistered to attend may download detailed directions to campus, and specifically to the Campus Center, here.  If you have not yet registered, but would like to attend the training that will be held at Centre, please call the GSP-Centre office at 859-238-5955 at your earliest convenience.
